Clinicians in rural Victoria receive support from Medtech
The University of Melbourne is extending its acceleration program for assisting the formation of early-stage businesses by physicians and hospital partners to regional Victoria.
Bendigo Health, a regional health network, will collaborate with the program’s 12-month delivery period. It aims to include local healthcare professionals in transforming their concepts into the patient- and provider-beneficial medical technology solutions.
In accordance with a press release, the initiative will assist physicians in connecting with a group of inventors, engineers, and producers to work together on the development of innovative medical technology solutions, particularly those that facilitate remote patient monitoring and care at home.
The Victorian Government, through the Australian Medtech Manufacturing Center, supports the $260,000 cooperation.
