Indian Healthcare Platform PharmEasy Uses Cashless Transactions to Process Transactions

To speed up payments to its retail partners, the Indian digital healthcare platform PharmEasy has teamed with Cashfree Payments, a supplier of payments and banking solutions in India.

According to a press statement, PharmEasy will use Cashfree Payments’ Payouts application programming interface (API) integration to pay suppliers, handle client refunds, disperse loans, and handle other operations.

According to a PharmEasy spokeswoman quoted in the press release, “Our operations have now been considerably automated, increasing customer experience and minimizing the time spent in payment reconciliation and settlements.” The time saved is utilized for other important duties, which has increased our team’s productivity.

According to a press release, Payouts will enable PharmEasy to fully automate the collection and distribution of payments to be paid to its retail partners, enabling settlement within 48 hours following the receipt of payments from customers who have purchased items on the site.
